Privacy policy

When you send the “Get a proposal” form, the details you chose to give are sent: which mess is closest to yours, the business’s name if given, what the business does and how many people work there, where information gets lost and what you already use, if you ticked them, when it needs to work, a note if you wrote one, your name, a phone number or an email, and where to reply.

There is no legal obligation to give these details; giving them is up to you. Without a phone number or an email I cannot get back to you, and that is the only consequence of leaving them out.

The details are sent as an email through the email provider Resend to my mailbox, which runs on Gmail (Google) and receives its mail through the forwarding service ImprovMX. If you left an email, you get a short email confirming that the enquiry arrived, without the details you wrote. The site does not keep the enquiry in a separate database. An enquiry the spam filter flags as suspicious, or one that can’t be emailed because the server’s sending settings are missing, is written to Vercel’s server log, so it can still be answered. The log is deleted automatically, after 30 days at the latest. Your IP address is checked for a short time to prevent repeated sending, and is not kept.

The site collects anonymous usage data through Vercel Web Analytics: which pages were viewed and which page you came from, the type of device, the browser and the operating system, an approximate location at country and city level, and clicks on the main buttons (such as “Get a proposal” and WhatsApp). When the form is sent, the kind of mess and the business size you chose are recorded too, never anything you typed and no contact details. There are no cookies: a visitor is identified by a temporary identifier made from the request itself, discarded after 24 hours and not linked to a person.

The site uses no cookies at all, for tracking, advertising or anything else. The language is chosen by the page address alone.

If you pick one of the messes on the home page, the choice is kept in your browser’s temporary storage (sessionStorage) until you close the tab, so the form and the WhatsApp message can mention it. It is not sent anywhere unless you send the form or the message.

The first time you open the home page, a small flag is kept in your browser’s temporary storage to say the opening has played, so it doesn’t repeat on every visit. It holds nothing about you and is deleted when you close the tab.

Contacting me on WhatsApp goes through WhatsApp, and using it is subject to its own privacy policy.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Fonts and images are served from the site itself and are not loaded from an external provider.

The providers named here (Vercel, Resend, ImprovMX and Google) also process the information outside Israel. The transfer is made to provide the service, in line with Israel’s Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 2001.

Details given in an enquiry are used only to reply to it and to prepare a written proposal. They are not sold, not passed to anyone other than the service providers named above, and not used for mailings you did not ask for.

The basis for using them is your consent: you gave the details voluntarily, so that I could get back to you. You can ask me at any time to stop using them and delete them.

The usage data is used only to understand which pages help visitors, and to improve the site.

An enquiry is kept in my mailbox for as long as I am handling it, and no longer than 24 months from the day it arrived, unless we have started working together. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.

All traffic between your browser and the site is encrypted (HTTPS). The enquiry is not stored on the site itself, and only I have access to the mailbox and the service accounts that handle it.

If a serious security incident affects information you gave, I will report it to the Privacy Protection Authority as the law requires, and let you know too when that is needed, so you can protect yourself.

The site and its form are meant for business owners and people aged 18 and over. If it turns out an enquiry was sent by a minor, it is deleted and not used.

You can ask to see the information held about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it in a common file format, or object to a particular use of it. Write to me by email or on WhatsApp (the details are at the end of the page), and the request will be handled within 30 days.

If you get no answer, or are not satisfied with it, you can contact the Privacy Protection Authority at Israel’s Ministry of Justice.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with it. A material change will be noted on the page itself.
